The Zimbabwean electoral commission officials have started to recount in 21 constituencies where they claim to have said of anomalies. Previously the opposition has filed a petition to order the release of results immediately. however the high court Judge Tendai Uchena dismissed the petition.
The opposition claims that the court judges and ZEC officials are the supporters of mugabe and they bring decisions that are favorable to him.
The ship An Yue Jiang from china containing cargoes of weapons and ammunitions to be sent to Zimbabwe arrived in Durban port of south Africa. While the government cleared for the cargo to be sent to Zimbabwe, the laborers and others working in the port decided not to offload these cargoes and filed a case in the high court which banned offloading. The ship left to unknown destination.

Zimbabwe Crisis
Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in the southern africa. Robert Mugabe, the president, has been the ruler for the past 28 years right from the independence from Great Britain on april 18 1980. In 1997 Britain withdrew itself from the "willing buyer, willing seller" land reform programme on the basis that the initial £44 million allocated under the Thatcher government was used to purchase land for members of the ruling elite rather than landless peasants.
In 2000 whites farms where confiscated and given to supporters and beacuse of this the once bread basket of africa came to s asituation where it has to depend on others for food to fight starvation. The inflation has been in rise continuously and it has reached 160000% in feb 2008. The elections are often rigged and the opposition supporters werent allowed to vote.
Christians are accused and arrested for conducting prayer meeting for the situation in the country.
Zimbabwe has been removed from common wealth countries in protest of the rising human rights violation. The 2008 elections was also a cause of concern as the results werent published but a recount was established. The Opposition MDC-T's leader Morgon Tsangverai was formerly a member of the party of ZANU-PF. He claims to have won the 2008 elections while the ruling party has said that no party has got majority and has to make a runoff vote to prove majority.
Foreign journalists are arrested for covering any news in zimbabwe. The people dont have the free will to do anything against the ruling party. As the crisis grows human rights violation also increase
